SPRING CHALLENGE
Week Three: Harmony
Week Three of 2024 Spring Challenge
Bringing Harmony and balance into our body and life is easier said than done. But the more we connect to our innate nature this is not actually something we need “to do” but just a way to be.
Sharon Gannon says: “Yoga is not something we can do, Yoga is our natural state – what we can do are practices that reveal to us where we are resisting our natural way”

Living in harmony with the seasons according to Chinese Medicine
-What kind of movement, nutrition, routine, sleep cycle do you feel you want to naturally move into this season?
-Is there anything in the way of this? Time limitations, work schedule, cooking meals for more than one, habits
– What feels unbalanced? in the physical body is there pain, tightness, illness? energetically? emotionally?
– What does feel in harmony? What practices bring you into harmony or show you where you are resisting this natural state of balance – yoga, meditation, yin, acupuncture, acupressure, nidra, pranayama
7.00pm-8.15pm at The Livingroom this friday, I have collaborated with the wonderful Mia Burlinson.
This event is all about bringing harmony and balance to the energetic and physical body and will be focused on balancing the liver through live sound vibrations, yin practices, acupressure and assisted touch based in the zenthai principles of touch and energetics.
A evening to reset and restore vital energy to all functions of the body (especially the liver) and designed to realign us with the movement of the seasons as we set up in spring (the natural beginning of the year).
A balanced liver meridian, as Leora said, means we can aspire to the growth, change and transformation we want to be in this season but also have the energy and aligned action to do so without feeling burnt out or frustrated.
I have set up a discount code for those on the spring challenge it is: SPRINGTLR
There will also be a variety of warm teas to take home or stay and chat 🙂
Practice Energetics- An at home practice from Isabella (60 mins vinyasa)
Top tip for creating a home practice – set up a space, doesn’t have to be big but if you can leave your mat out in it, this can help as a reminder and one less thing to do. Light your favourite candle or some incense since its your space, you choose the lighting, the smells and the space. Wooden or hard floor is preferably but carpet will work too. Choose your favourite playlist or access one of mine on spotify @isabellafrancesyoga – the playlists are named to each class “practice svadyaya”
for some reason this video is age restricted, but it is a 60 minute yin practice focused on the liver meridian. Targeted to balance Qi or energy along this centre
